The UNC Panhellenic Council is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all.
Greetings from the CEB Committee Chair
The Panhellenic Community, Engagement, and Belonging Committee (CEB) is guided by a commitment to celebrating individuality and embracing the rich diversity that exists within our UNC community. We strive to create a space where differences are not only acknowledged, but genuinely respected and valued.
Our ultimate goal is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive environment in which each member's experiences, perspectives, and strengths are appreciated. By fostering a community rooted in safety, trust, and belonging, we aim to support personal growth, meaningful connections, and lifelong friendships. The CEB Committee works directly with the Panhellenic Executive Council to continually strengthen and improve our community for the benefit of all members.
Through collaboration with campus partners, philanthropic outreach initiatives, and ongoing educational programming, we are dedicated to building a future grounded in empathy, mutual respect, and accountability. Our committee is composed of engaged and passionate representatives from each chapter, bringing diverse backgrounds and perspectives that challenge us to think critically about how we approach community, engagement, and belonging.
We recognize that promoting meaningful change requires active listening, empathy, and responsiveness to the needs and lived experiences of our community. We also acknowledge that systemic challenges and historical practices within Panhellenic have, and continue to, contribute to inequities and feelings of exclusion. By prioritizing education, honest dialogue, and intentional accountability, we can create a Panhellenic experience that is more inclusive, equitable, and reflective of shared values. We believe these efforts will have a lasting, positive impact on the broader Carolina community.
Above all, we want every student considering Panhellenic to feel welcomed, supported, and valued. If any member experiences something that feels unfair or unwelcoming, no matter how big or seemingly small, we encourage you to reach out. Your voice matters, and we are always here to listen, advocate, and take action when needed.
Our mission is to ensure Panhellenic is an inclusive community that truly feels like home for everyone, and it is our utmost priority to achieve these goals through thoughtful education, collaboration, and intentional leadership.

Community Engagement & Belonging Committee Chair
The UNC Panhellenic Council is devoted to creating a welcoming and inclusive Panhellenic community. We recognize historically our organization and our chapters have been comprised of almost exclusively white women.
This committee will address the racial, economic, and social injustices, and the overall lack of diversity, in our community. This committee acts as an extension of the Panhellenic Executive Board and will empower Panhellenic women.
